Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hey Diane-well of course and if i had my "thinking cap on" i would have remembered that from the "Carrier" series!!!!  a very BIG deal!!!!

well Mommy-brought the checkbook home to work on it...need "peace and quite" to work on finding that missing $$ !!  arrrrgh !!! hope your pup is better and that your little twin gets that job!!!  your Sailor girl....eeeks! don't know a thing about ulcers but sure hope the meds work and no more tummy problems!

Mommyhunt - Prayers for Paris to continue to get better!

CC - thanks for the rain prayers we could sure use them. Wild fires broke out in 3 different counties yesterday burning hundreds of acres and many homes too :(

Hmmmmm National Vanilla Milkshake Day! Every day is Ice cream and milkshake day for my hubs and I ! I will only do Bryers French Vanilla with the french vanilla bean in it!!

Alysia   I am praying for rain for you! Parts of Colorado got heavy ,rains, hail and even 3-6" snow in the high country!! But here at our house we got a sprinkle for 20 mins!! But we will take whatever we can get, Right?

CC & Diane - I am right there along with y'all. State & Navy flags flying high..red,white & blue colors through out the yard and inside house. As posted on my wall; my moto reads "One Proud Momma" ~ as we ALL are!!

Diane   I know what you mean, We have always flown our flag, now I have red white and blue at the front door, in the garden and I have Navy  or Navy Mom shirts, sweatshirts on every chance I get.
