For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Morning all! Well my rain dance kind of workr=ed...we got some light rain for about 15 mins last evening! Really just enough to spot up the windows, but it sure smelled wonderful afterward!! I can't explain it, but it was grrrreeeaaat!
Connie, I have a disability as well. Hubs is 65 and I am 54. I have been out of the workforce for over 21 years now. I'll be so glad when all of this stuff is done...just need to make sure we have enough coverage for me and just in case coverage for him. Medicare...what a racket! LOL!
Have a baby shower to attend today! Wow My son's friends are having babies!! Well some already have them but his closest girl friend is having a little girl. I am sooo excited to spoil her! Have a super save, cool and fire free weekend all! Hugs!

Everyone Have a great Weekend. We are headed to Knoxville (6 hours away) tonight and will be home ( another 6 hours) by Sunday at 11pm so SIL can go to work, It's family reunion time.

retired!! woo hoo CC!! gonna get on that boat with ya in a couple more years....4 yr. age difference here so it's kind of tricky with the gap and Medicare. the Mister here is disabled Vet so no prob for him.
Sherrill..My Hubs was stationed in Sicily during Vietnam. He has the most beautiful pics and slides of his time there! Hope your Sailor gets his choices!!
Ooopps! I think I goofed, I should have posted to mommy about the fires.. I can tell today is going to be one of the goofy days I have know and then! HA!
Mommy - I just finished all of that garbage for Our Medicare plans! It is Official now We are retired!!

Connie- I love the sounds outside late at night and early in he morning. There are coyote and fox active at night and all of the birds chirping, peacock calls and of course the neighbors roosters are my alarm clock!
