hahaha Cindy!!  i got Sissy's little boat ready to blow up if needed. oh mercy it's bad...the scenes of the elderly people losing every thing is heartbreaking....

we're safe...far enough from the river.  when the warning first went out they said the water would come up through the sewer system and we would all most likely be affected.  that hasn't happened here. BUT Sailor son was home and in the middle of the night i was grabbing those priceless things (pictures and family heirlooms) and we moved it all upstairs. Sailor Son very wisely did all that i asked of him but i know he was thinking "ok so mom is pretty freaked out right now so we'll just humor her".

Happy Monday!!!

Texas reporting for Monday muster call.......

Hope y'all had a fabulous Mother's Day :-)

Talked to R for a while yesterday. It was great to hear his voice...we had a family chat over breakfast!
He sent me some pictures electronically from his O'strand grad ceremony ~ handsome swabbie! Also, some pics of his sites seen and adventrues he's done while there....pretty cool.
His Cheif asked him to be night Yeoman, no more barrack support, which he gladly accepted!
Looking into some more volunteer work to keep him busy otherwise.
Hoping his orders pop soon!!

Chris graduates on Tuesday with marine/navy moms daughter. Then leaving right after to head to Norfolk VA. Even though he will still be 8 hours away it feels so much closer. He will be home in July. Will be here before we know it. So so proud!!

My son was just home. In Jan he left for Washington State. He has a litle less than 3 years before his enlistment is up.  I don't want him to do 20 years, sorry I was confusing. To much Memphis excitement.

Connie your to funny. I drive that way to work every day. I did take our clunker today, so I wouldn't be spotted. lol

Have a great weekend! And Happy Mothers Day to all.

You might think of an AT like you might a Teacher. Some teachers teach gym, some science. I think AT's can very almost night and day. It's all some sort of Electronics dealing with Aircraft. However they have lots of different equipment (specalties). Maybe it will help you to know it's not very easy to figure out what exactly they do.  Hope this helps. Hope I didn't offend any Teachers, it's the only job I could think of that is the same yet different.
