marine navy: wont be able to go to grad. Mississippi to big a trip for us. Kids with finals, one graduating HS, 2 dogs and just not enough time or money to get down there. He will be home in July hopefully for 2 weeks. When he is in Norfolk it may be easier for us to visit.

Texas reporting in.....Happy Hump Day Ladies!

Donna ~ I guess your care package consists of lots of batteries for your Sailor to play their PSP? I can see my Sailor doing the same thing on a ship or land..LOL

Cindy - awesome pic!

Military time has become habit for our house. The girls get really confused but are starting to adjust. We also use it at work for computer programming.

Cindy - early bird, you will just have to tell Paul to email you if he has somehting to say after class at 10pm...LOL You know he may forget and call anyways. Just habit to dial that number without thinking of the time. Just wait till they are some place with a huge time difference and call smack dab in the middle of the night...that happen to a friend of mine at work and scared the dickens out of her. Then her son said oh sorry I forgot....LOL Gotta love 'em anyways and take that call when you can I guess.

Last night Chris called and said they let them out of class early(he does night classes he prefers them) bad lightening storm and they were expecting upto 70 mile per hour winds. He said they were told to get to the barracks and stay inside. He was watching the lightening out his window.

mommyhunt: your sailor will like biloxi. Chris has enjoyed going to New orlleans, the casinos, the bars, the beach oh yeah and C school.LoL. Actually he has done well there. School is easier for him and the atmosphere is more relaxed. He will finish up May 10 and go on to Norfolk

Donna ~ my son told me the same thing when he was discussing his options after high school. For two years he kept telling me one of his biggest motivations was the abililty to travel and see the world.
