Cindy- thank you so much! Yes I am taking our daughter to see him. And I hope to be able to go to P-cola at least once a month for a long weekend. Someone said that classes are moving faster now that there are night classes. I so hope so! I can't wait to see him on Friday! But he is a grad and go so he leaves very early on Saturday morning....hence the trip ( i hope) in the next 3 weeks to pcola!

Thank you all so much! What a relief! He was already hearing so many rumors about this guy in his division whos girlfriend was on hold since dec. 1st waiting for a class to start. I would love to go visit him, and take our daughter down, but I just didn't know what to expect! I will also check out the corry station site...is that where the school is? I went to school and was the last O strand class that graduated from Millington!

hello punkin-and i might add when he gets there he might hear all kind of tall tales like it will take up to a year before school starts and heck there might be a guy swearing he's been at pensacola for over TWO years waiting....they must have forgot about him....none is true! the guys like to 'mess' with each other.  patience patience patience and once thing get going there might even be more waiting.  so again patience patience patience.

Hi all! I am new to this group. My husband graduates BC on the 28th and heads to pcola the next day for a school. I was wondering if someone could help me out with info on classes being on hold for 3 months? His orders say he is AT O level, which is what I was but things have sure changed in the last 10 years. Please help!

thanks....clear as mud hehehehe  no seriously marine_navy you really did clear it up and i didn't know about the retesting.

3d's-do you mean more Navy than Marines or more students total? i think you mean more students in total but some got sent back to the next class.

Comment by Connie(Memphis Belle) on January 17, 2011 at 3:03pm

ok got it...class sizes vary a bit and the make up of Sailor/Marine fluctuales as well....since one Marine is a girl and we know of one Sailor(mine)-then we can deduce that  a=1, b=1 therefore we know the sum total is 24 but a+? +b+? =24 we do not know.....why in the heck is my son finding math a challenge????  hehehehehehe

ok i go stick my nose in the corner....creating a little mischief...missed it ; )

and if any newbies don't get it...well hang on...we can have fun at this!!

marine_navy---NINE?  only nine in her class?  that sure seems like a very small number unless you tell me that the class size was much bigger and that most of them failed? oh i hope NOT???

and i think i remember that Monica has no idea either until her husband finally got his orders and boy isn't that wacky...she's got to go to Pax River and he won't be there until June i think.
