Hi Steve's Mom, my Sailor loves P'cola made a few friends, like to fish, and loves to golf, theres a course right on the base. ATT and AWAT were ok he said and A school itself starts monday. They just have to be careful of who they pick for friends, lots of ARI (alcohol related incidences) in P'cola that gets alot of them in trouble, my son thank the lord sees how destructive this would be to his career and stays away from those sailors.

PS I have heard that the navy is at 130% capacity right now, that could be part of the holds.

Steve',s mom, not sure why the holds but my son arrived in P'cola 8/10 and was told he would be on hold until dec, but he has already completed ATT and AWAT and will be starting A school on monday, so his hold time was a lot less than he thought.

Hi, my son is also on hold for AT school, arrived in P'cola Aug 7, is just getting ready to phase up to 3, last he heard school would start in Dec, he's planning on being in P'cola until at least June.

Carrie, have a great visit with Michael. Victoria arrived on August 6. I hope that she classes up when Michael does. I guess it depends upon the numbers who arrived before her.

Victoria is also AT and stayed at GL. She didn't move over until Tuesday after PIR and didn't have liberty overnight. I'm not sure there is rhyme or reason to what they do.
