Just curious - where are all the different "A" schools and what jobs go to each one.
I know that Master at Arms has a school on an Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas. My son is a Master at Arms, but he got sent to Dam Neck in Virginia Beach, VA. I know that alot of guys have "A" school in Great Lakes. There are about 20 different "A" schools across the street. Which ones stay there? I know the SEALS do.

There is an A school in Pensacola. My son Paul is training to be an air traffic controller. I understand it is very difficult. He said a lot have already been dropped out of the program. If all goes well he will graduate April 29th.
This message is to NovesMom...My son just arrived at Pansacola for Air Traffic Training....He has not started classes yet. Just wondering if you could tell me a little about it. How is your son doing? How well did he do in High School? Are they really tough on them there? My son struggled through high school, but definitely passed all the tests that see if they have the capacity to learn AT....He knows he needs to have better study habits in this school. I just pray for him that he will realize he needs to step up the pace here for a few months, and not allow his taste of freedom to distract him.

my daughter In law was to go there also in AE-A school for Aviation Tech

My son is attending his A school in Pensacola FL. After having his basic at Great Lakes FL is a step up in the weather department.
Hey Faith, I wonder if our sons know each other. My son Paul is in barracks Roosevelt. Where is your son? Diane
