Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Brenda do they have liberty on weekends ? how soon do they find out grad date& r parents allowed to attend? Tx
My daughter said they will get liberty in a couple weeks and be able to leave base. Phase 3 they will get leave for the weekend. I hear the riverwalk is pretty cool. She is looking forward to checking it out. Hoping to get grad date. Im kicking around the idea of going however she will get 2 weeks leave to come home after that so not sure.
My son going to lackland I dont know where u are from,but there is a gateway lodge there to stay .I was just told short grad ceremony there not like Great Lakes that I just attended ,but if you are able to go still nice to be there,I also was told that while out there go to SanAntonio River walk as well as eat @ Rudy's good food & cheap!
Hi, My son just PIR'd on 9/24 and called yesterday from Lackland. He starts next week. He told me his address to send his phone, but wanted to make sure I got it right before I mail.
I got the PSC 3 and 1320 Truemper street, Lackland AFB should I add MA school or anything else so that it will find him?

My daughter called it Pruemper St. I sent her phone and she got it 2 days later.
