OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi everyone!

We have received a request from MCPON asking if there are any members out there who would allow him to use your sons/daughters name in a speech he will be making in Chattanooga on May 7. MCPON will be the Grand Marshall in the Armed Forces Day Parade and would like to highlight some local Sailors. Please send us a PM as soon as possible! We'd like to get some names over to MCPON by Friday morning.

Thank you!
