Karen, I know what you mean! I was so stressed about my daughter's departure until I got her "I'm here, and ok mom" call! I swear this is harder on us than it is on them! :)

Do you have the link to the AB A school link by chance? I will be sure to pass on any and all info I get! I'm heading to Florida as soon as my daughter gets weekend liberty!  I will ask my daughter to connect with your daughter when I speak to her next! :)

Hooyah!  That is so exciting.  Shell said she will no more on Tuesday of what time they will be leaving on Saturday.  Please let me know if you find out and I will make sure I relay any information that she tells me to you.  I have a feeling this is going to be such a whirlwind of a trip!  Although, I know they fly standby on commercial flights and they might not meet up until they reach FL.  At MEPS in Harrisburg, she was the first to leave the group to the airport by herself, because they had one seat open for GL and she was the lucky one to get it!  She was so nervous when she had the ticket in her hand and clenching her jaws!  Then she called me from Chicago airport and said, I don't know where I'm going mom!!  Phew panic mode set in.  I stayed on the phone until she found the USO.   Wow, what a flashback and now they are Sailors!!!

I was just going to ask about suggestions to joining other groups.  I found an AB group that I just joined. My daughter is an ABE,  she said there are three other girls with the same job going to P'Cola with her.
