Sandy- It was especially sweet because she had moved out of our home a month before BC. She went to live with bio-mom. Yesterday she said our house fells like home and she wants to stay with us! I think she has matured a little and realized that the rules we asked her to comply with weren't all that unreasonable! lol!

Wow that is wonderful Fawn!.  Congratulations!  It's funny I had to ask her to say I am a Sailor also she kept me hanging!  I asked if she got flags and which ones!!! She rattled off "yeah we got lots of flags", and she kept naming them; the only one I remember is the scholastic one and their division one that they created; there are  cookies  on the one side of it (?) ..she said wait until you see it it's funny!

Ok, so I got my call yesterday about 1:00 pm. Jordyn said that Battlestations wasn't as difficult as she thought it would be. She said the entire div did great! She was drinking an energy drink and eating twizzlers! She said most had an energy drink. She sounded a little tired, but said that it was more mental exhaustion. She felt fine physically, but knew she would be ready for bed when it was time. I asked her about the hall of fame, and she said they would probably know better after Captain's Cup today! I laughed at some of the earlier posts, because 054 and 057 think they are in the running. Jordyn is convinced that 053 has the other divs beat! lol! She said their overall scores have been higher than 054. I guess every div thinks theirs is the best! lol! We will all have to wait for the results.

After she told me she passed, I said "Aren't you supposed to say, I'm a US Sailor?" She said, "oh yeah... I'm a US Sailor" in a giggle. Here I had waited FOREVER to hear those words, and I had to ask her to say it! lol! She also said she would graduate from A school on March 31, then get a couple weeks leave. She asked if she could come back to our house during that time because it is home! I started bawling and told her I better pull myself together!

She wants to bake cookies (our room also has a kitchen), go to the mall, eat chinese food and buy some new panties. She is tired of wearing granny panities! lol! She laughed when I said Hooyah to her!

Congratulations to all of our SAILORS! They are no longer called SR's as they are not recurits anymore!!!

We got a letter from Richelle yesterday (very brief letter) . She said they were so busy and the worst thing she had to do was the gas chamber. Well, that's all behind them now.  Now we anxiously wait for our other divisions to become Sailors!  Good Luck to everyone!  Do we know when we get to hear the results of the Captains Cup?  How soon after do they post in the on RTC FaceBook site?

cheryl:  They allow carseats in the PIR Hall but discourage them because of space allowance, and I know you all don't want to take it in anyway.  You might want to call your hotel front desk and ask them about the carseat requirement for shuttles.

Good to know.  Thank you Dianne :)  Happy Birthday to your son Jill!

Does anyone know if the shuttle require car seats for the little ones? We would like to take the shuttle but then don't know what we would do with the car seats once we get to PIR... they are too heavy to carry around.
