Chris - I havent check out any place around the base yet, but we are going that way tomorrow.  Someone suggested Foster Creek Villas 843-764-2120.  Its right down the road from the base and they do weekend rentals.   I'll send you some info tomorrow evening on what I find.

Hi all - Sandy and Denise, Thank you so much for your offer to help with our sailors at Goose Creek.   My son has been sick since last weekend so I wish you could take him home with you!  My husband and I are probably going down next weekend - Sandy can you recommend any hotels in the area?  Navydad - I hope you are able to get home soon.

I just cannot shake this sad feeling - I don't know if the reality of his being really gone is sinking in or what.  When he was at boot camp I was so busy writing and getting ready for the holidays and graduation I think that was a major distraction.  He still doesn't have his cell phone.  I'm hoping once he receives that and communication is easier I will feel better.  Anyone on here with a son from California who was in division 910?  My son is rooming with him.

Are we still able to order division shirts? If so, how? Hope everyone is settling in well for this next phase. My SA sounds very happy at A school!

LOL!  I know right?!  He commented about the new indocts who recently arrived, said he noticed a pretty girl looking at him.  I told him to look the other way, girls were nothing but trouble considering where he is!   So Hooters it is!!!
