Thought it might be nice for everybody to say where they are staying for PIR as a means of knowing who will be in the same place, taking the shuttles, carpooling, etc. and maybe even getting together…Continue

Got a letter yesterday...he's REALLY looking forward to A school. No word on the next phone call. Something about if they pass the next item then a phone call.

Deana- LOL! I did the exact same thing! She hasn't responded to that letter yet, though!

I copied and sent that pic to my SR.  I drew an arrow to the one I thought was her and asked for confirmation!!  There is another view of this pic and I could see a hint of her glasses!  I'm pretty sure the first girl to the right (in the front row) is my daughter!!!

Aren't the NWUs (Navy Working Uniforms) pictured below great?  This is what your recruits train in...and what many work in once stationed.  My son loves his...says they are very comfortable (he is stationed).

Does anyone see their SR? I could swear I see the back of my daughters head! I know that color and cut!!! Does anyone see a familiar person?

Laura...we are getting the same feed back in DIV 55!  We have only received one phone call also.  I have read older entries for many Divisions that have PIR'd before us and it is the trend.  My husband was in the Air Force and he said this is honestly a part of breaking down the individualism and building up the team bond.  That Team bond will be a matter of life or death to our Sailors in the future.  I was so bummed about all the bad news about caos in the Divisions until he gave me that reminder!  =)  It stills hurts and bothers me that we are not getting to hear from our SR's, but I at least don't feel like we are the worst kids on the block anymore.  LOL!  Keep praying!!  God wouldn't lead our kiddos to a place where He would leave them.  There is a plan in all of this caos!  {{{HUGS}}}} to all!

we received two letters today from my daughter and we have only received one phone call also. there was someone that made a comment about eating peanut butter, she asked us if eating alot of peanut butter was bad for her so she is getting the protein also. she said that her division doesn't have it together and that is why they haven't had alot of privledges, and also alot of IT. she also told me that she will have duty one day after PIR. i am not sure if anyone else has gotten word of that yet.
