Kat, I'm sorry you didn't get a call. Maybe this week. Special thanks to N4M's for the suggestion to forward house calls to the cell phone. We were out of town. My cell phone rang and it was great to hear her voice.

Actually, my son's first day there was thanksgiving day and he told us all about the prime rib... I also heard that they have a very special Christmas dinner for the recruits as well. I truly believe that menu on there was what our SRs got to eat that day.

Kac, I got a phone call yesterday. The best Christmas surprise...it was the first time I had spoken to my daughter since she left on Nov. 23. Maybe the reporter doesn't understand...they can't make phone calls just anytime...phone calls are earned for good behavior and achieving certain goals. I'm praying all Moms get calls soon!

ladies  it was so nice to get a phone call for my son yesterday I am sorry for those of you who didn't received phone calls they will be calling soon. I I also know that letters are written but will not go out until Monday they are thinking of us and we have to stay strong. My thoughts and prayers go out to the moms who have yet to receive phone calls but trust that God is taking care of them.
