Penny, Hopefully I will get a letter or two today...I will keep you posted about the test scores.  I received my letters on Thursday last week, so I hope today is the day =)  He said he had almost a perfect score on his tests so far...his average is 100.  I am so proud of him!

Sherry, I believe in miracles as well and I don't think we need to worry, the RDC will do things to make them gel ... I am sure of it.  Those egos usually tend to break about week 4 - so they still have a few days to go!!!  Just encourage your son to do the very best he can at beating the information for the exams into their heads.  Positive reinforcement and continual studying and it will work.  He can do it.

Your son's SVAB must have been fairly high to be chosen for that position.  Congrats!

I got another letter today.  It is only taking 3 days for me to get his letters from the day that he writes them.  I'm about 5 hours away.  Today, he sent back one of the questionaires that I sent.  I mixed a couple of them together.  He loved it, and did a great job answering all of the questions! He wrote his letter on the 19th, and he said that it was week 3 day 2 for them.  He said that their weeks are jacked up because of p days, and they started their training on a Friday.  Said their division isnt doing too bad, but they have some work to do.  He's section leader, so is getting beatings for them not working as hard as they should. On one of the questions, he said that he is homesick, not doing to bad~graduation here I come, and What the hell was I thinking. LOL! My oldest son and I got a good laugh at that today, as well as him having to jump off the platform.  He is extremely scared of heights like me, and this past summer, his brother and friends were jumping off of our garage roofinto our pool(yes, they are all crazy boys) and they couldn't get my recruit to jump off of there for nothing!  They were all trying to get him to jump, but he opted to take the ladder down, so he made a comment about how much higher the platform was than the garage roof!  LOL! Got a good chuckle out of that one too!  He says that vegetable lasagna is his favorite food, but hates the cat fish, the food is good, but not as good as moms cooking!  AWWWW!!  He said the peanut butter shot made is *** sore for a week~ no joke!  He says that their RDC said that they will be making more phone calls!  That's GREAT news!!!
