They will have a FINAL PFA (PT) test right before BattleStations.  My guess is that he was in processing days for a good while...his division, that is.  Maybe as long as 2 weeks.  I'm guessing that the PFA test he is referring to is their first one.

It still confuses me.  Tuesday December 14th, makes exactly 4 weeks from when he left.  In his letter dated the 12th, he stated their PT test was on Tuesday the 14th along with their first inspection.  That would mean they're pushing into week 5.  He wrote to a friend and said mail was held a few days, didnt say why.  Its time for more letters!!

Also, Saturdays and Sundays don't count.  For Div 053, today is 3-4.

Yes, Kac:  You are right.  55 and 56 are brother divisions and train together.  The other brother divisions are 53 + 54, 57 + 58

Sherry: They start counting the "training"weeks of bc on the 1st day of training after processing days---which vary in length of time they are in those.  You need to find out what day of the week is Day 1 for his division as that will always be the first day of the new week 1(week)-1(day). That is how they write it 1-1 means week one, day one. 2-1 is week 2, day 1, and so on.  I believe that my son had told me that when they get to 6-5, they are done...but it has been so long, I don't remember.  He probably meant "done" in that they only have BattleStations left.

Does anyone in Div 55 actually know what week we are in??  My son left on the 22nd and actually got to RTC on the 23rd.  Do they count the weeks from Mon to Sun???  (Does that make sense?)  12/23  would technically start week five I believe... but does that include all the prep days.  When I talked to my son I think he said he had completed the PT Test because he gave his dad his times. So I am assuming that means they are past that point.  I am so confused. =-)

That is awesome Penny!!!!  I I love it!  My son is also the EPO - Education Petty Officer for his Div 55.  I am so proud of our boys and thrilled that you finally got your phone call!  I miss them like crazy, but I know every day that passes is one more closer to graduation!  I cannot wait to meet you all! Thanks for all the info!!!!  I live for every little update from all of our boys!!!
