KLP - Congrats on having hubby home and preparing for a BIG move!  I wish you guys the best.  I still remember the first time I met you!

To all of you:  Remember when we were all making plans for Chicago?  Snow storm was coming, waiting for the "I'm a Sailor Call".  Emotions running wild..  I get all teary eyed all over again.  Phone calls?  Who called and every detail of

your conversation was shared.

I pray all our Sailors are doing well.  We've come a long way since bootcamp days.  Hugs to all!!

I have sent a couple of packages of clothes and things from home but with them being underway for several days at a time it takes any where from 5-30 days for the packages to catch up. I would love to send him some homemade hot sauce (he loves it!) but am afraid it wouldn't be good if it took several weeks to catch up to him. Letters have stopped with email, text and email although he doesn't email much lol! Any ideas on shipping the hot sauce :)

Congrats Laura!  I can't imagine having to wait that long to see your son!  It will be great for you to see him again!  Sherry, my son is on his first tour, and I'm getting ready to send him his first package from home.  Back to the phone cards again like bootcamp.  But other goodies too, plus socks and t shirts that he has requested.
