So glad to see that Tricia got mail!! and that there are praying moms out there!! I'm at work now, but as soon as I get home I'm cking the mailbox:)
I finally booked my room today! We'll be staying at the Ramada. They said their shuttle leaves at 7:30 am for the graduation. Does anyone besides me think that is a little late to be leaving?

The best part about this is only 49 MORE days left!!! (thanks for the clock!) That is my favorite part of my day, looking at that that clock and noticing that it is going down, slowly but surely!!! :) And A-school usually they have more freedom to use the phone etc!!

Well, GoldenGator, we're all in this together and need to hold other's hands through it. In the end, hopefully we will all be at PIR on 1/28 and then get to start over again as they go on to new adventures of excitement.

Reading about all the things that you are hearing from your husband and I have to say ... I'M JEALOUS. lol At this time, most of the other divisions have no idea beyond the 4 lines on the formal letter. Mine simply said that it's been an interesting week. He missed my cooking but they are keeping him alive, at least!! hahaha But he is a large boned kid, 6'2" and was 240 before losing 35 lbs. to qualify for boot camp and trust me when I say he worked very hard to accomplish that.

I can't wait to learn what job he has, how he is doing and anything to do with his daily life. I will be a very happy momma when his first letter comes. Funny that we all have the same PIR date but seems they may not all be going through the same processes at the same time. I know my son was excited for the day he could get his cammies - hoping he is sporting them nowadays because that means there is a broad smile on his face.

Thanks Kac- yeah, I know with the holidays the schedule is all screwed up! Just hang in there! That letter will be here before you know it! Probably next week b/c mail goes out on Sunday! So I'm sure next week!

Tricia, my son shipped out on 11/24 - the day before Thanksgiving. I heard from another mom in the same division that her son said in the 4 lines on the form letter that they were still in P-days until 12/8 !!!! And we now know that no mail goes out while in P-days. UGH ...

seems like div 910 has gotten the most mail so far. the few of us in div 56havn't heard much, in the form letter my guy wrote that letters wont be for a while so i was thinking they might have a goof in the divsion lol

As i was walking on my college campus today in the mountains of PA i was just thinking how very very very cold it was lol. the wind was blowing in my face and i could barely breathe. i finally broke out my winter jacket once the tempeture was staying at 20 degees. the only thing getting me through was thinking our guys were marching through this everyday, it made me smile and sent me on to conquer the day.
