I received my Letter today!!! The date is 1/28/2011...She left a little note which made my heart melt! She's doing good!! She said that they haven't been able to write letters during processing week, but is able to Sunday! Postmarked Nov. 29th, so by next Tuesday, i'll be out by the mailbox! She wrote," I'm doing fine, so please don't worry! I love you and miss you." My feet aren't touching the ground right now!! Woohoo!

Hi room, my son is ship 11 div 054. Just wanted to let you know that he is probably going to PIR on the 28th as well. What does G & G mean? Does it mean that they graduate and then go immediately to "A" school because my son is staying in GL for school.

so....Div 53 and 54 may be g&g? But other than that, they aren't? Sorry...big learning curve here with how this all works! LOL johnsmom, if Nathan would have stayed w/ his first thought, him and your son would have been following each other lol. Whats the best airport to fly into for graduation?

WOOHOO that is great Betsy. will have to check that site!

How do we get one of those countdown clocks for our little group of potential 1/28ers lol

I found the best website today. I was browsing for some Christmas gifts and came across CafePress.com. I was able to order a Christmas ornament with logo and name of the submarine that my daughter's bf is on and a couple of Navy cute t-shirts for my grandchildren, that say "My Uncle is in the Navy" for A to give them for Christmas.

I have no association with the website, but just wanted to share it.
