Passing this information along that was posted on the GW facebook page.  Didn't know if any of you had heard about this.  This is why my son has been so nervous about the medical problems he had been having.  Curious why they continue to graduate so many new sailors every week if there is this over crowding going on.  Kind of sounds like corporate America right now.

Congratulations Kac.  I got my first phone call from my son since he's been on his ship.  He sounds a lot better.  Still hasn't gotten his email set up, but promises to get it done soon!  I've missed the communication.  Since this is his first tour, he is mostly just job shadowing right now until he gets his training complete.  He says it's HOT on the ocean.  90~ 100+ degrees everyday.  He said the psychiatrist is helping him alot with his depression and anxiety which is good.  He told him that everyone handles this experience differently.  I'm so glad that he sounds better.  He's still worried about discharge, but I told him to just fight for his position!  Sometimes in life we just have  to fight for what we want. Don't really know where he is at or heading to , he said they can't say.  I understand.  I can't believe how many family members on GW facebook site won't abide by the simple rules there.  People just don't understand the jeapordy they put our sailors in to with their loose lips. I hope everyone is doing well.  Take care!

Just got word my husband first station should be Norfolk with Fleet Combat Camera Atlantic. So proud of him. He isn't assigned a ship as this job is more independent based. Unfortunitly he is highly likely to go to Iraq but it isn't written in stone. Glad to see where everyone is ending up!
