For those traveling tomorrow I wish you all safe travels. Hopefully I am not delayed too long. I fly out of Mass on Thursday and of course it is suppose to snow wed into thurs. Hopefully it will end in the morning so that I can still catch my flight at 11:20a.m. So if I am delayed and I don't make the meet & greet I will see you all on Friday.

Have safe trips to Chicago!!!!!

SherryYmom, thanks so much for asking about me.  Yes, as gvnavydad stated, I did get my phone call.  His girlfriend and I were both on the phone call together hearing the good news.  She will also be accompanying me to PIR weekend.

Well, I just got home from my kids' basketball games and it has taken a bit to catch up. My son called as I was standing in the Shell station buying water before the game, my husband had to explain why I was crying!! Luckily we live in a VERY small town of less than 300, so they all understood. My son said, "Mom I have something to tell you....I'm a US Navy Sailor." I immediately started to bawl, I have never been so proud, so relieved and now so exhausted! He was thrilled because his girlfriend was on the bus going to the game and he could call her....oh, the little things that make a boy happy. I immediately got text messages from others on the bus saying congratulations....what a special day.

Hawkeye Mom and Babygirl - I hope you get your call soon, I'm sure the waiting is agony, but how reasurring to know that all of Div 055 passed. I am eagerly awaiting your post announcing your new Sailors.

I'm not sure that I'll make the M&G, my mother and I are coming from CA and don't get in until almost 4pm. I will be there bright and early Friday morning to welcome our Sailors. It's been quite a ride but God has been faithful and seen ALL of us through!!!        BLESS YOU ALL :)

Penny got her call...        i am so sorry to anyone who hasn't yet. That has to be hard...hang in there.

We are leaving California very early in the morning. I will be thinking and praying for those still in limbo. Thanks to all.
