Dropping in real quick.  I'm so sorry to hear that a couple of you did not get your calls today.  I know how frustrating and upsetting that that must be for you!  I would be in tears.  They did just have a post on RTC facebook page today, that because of watch and other circumstances, phone calls may not always come the day after battelestations, but maybe 2, so tomorrow has got to be your day.  I know that probably doesn't feel any better, but hang in there.  We are almost all going to be there, and you will get to embrace your new sailors real soon!  Keeping all of you in my prayers, safe travels for everyone, and more successful sailors to those that could not complete their final tasks for whatever reason.  We are all so blessed, and I praise God for ALL of you, and the unselfish choice that all of our new Sailors have made for our country!  We have a great country, great sailors, and now a great new Navy family as well!  I hope to see as many of you as I can come Friday!  God Bless!

How wonderful to read all of the joy that is going on right now with all of our Sailor moms. We are a proud bunch and looks like we've got a great bunch of kids/ oops/ I mean Sailors! Driving 10 hours to get there --praying for good travel and weather for all.

Bunches of Hope for those who haven't got calls...they will come soon. For everyone else safe travels, I hope the weather doesn't delay anyone. Thursday will be fun...Friday is what this journey is all about. I look forward to seeing all your sailors walk in through that door...good luck!

I agree, this has been a crappy thing to do to us as parents and loved ones.  Not the best experience that I had wished for this weekend.

Well said GG....It is not over for any of us until we have all heard from our Sailors!!! Keep us posted! Just know we are praying for your all! I feel your frustration and pain!!! Like I said earlier....they all passed!! Most of our Div 55 is sick! They have had strep throat and the flu so maybe your two were one of the few that were feeling well enough to be on watch. Who knows....it has been such a crazy ride! Three days ladies!!!!!! Two more nights!!!!! Huge hugs to you all!!!

Congratulations to all of our new sailors and everyone who has seen them through every step of the way.  I don't know about you but I feel exhausted from all the tension of this day.  Exhausted, but happy and super excited for Friday.  My son said something very sweet.  I asked him what he wants to do over the weekend.  I told him I am bringing his laptop, cell phone and video gaming stuff.  He said he didn't really want to do any of that he just wanted to spend time with his family.  I hope all of you have a wonderful, fabulous, fantastic time with your sailor however long you get to spend with him or her.

BabyGirl Hawkeye....My son said that ALL of Div 55 passed! My son had to try to call us three times because the line kept cutting out. I don't think he was ever able to connect to his girlfriend. The phone lines there are not the greatest. Just think....we will all be talking to them on Friday. I have also heard they will get another call the day before graduation. Hold tight Babygirl & Hawkeye!!
