Hey everyone.  I'm checking in with some GOOD news!  Well, they determined that everything is fine with my sons heart.  They do feel that he is suffering from some depression and anxiety, so they will have him talking with a psychiatrist once on his ship, and working with him on how to deal with all of it, which is GOOD! They have cleared him for duty, and yes, he now is officially ON BOARD the USS George Washington, waiting for his first deployment!  Can we just shout out a big HOOYAH right now?!!!!!  I can't tell you all how relieved I am!!  I am so thankful for all of you and all of your prayers.  I know that we've got a Great Big God, and He answers prayer.  I just felt a peace inside of me, even though I still wanted to worry.  So, now we are moving forward again, and praying that it will be smooth sailing for all of us and our sailors going forward.  Thank you all again so much.  No one understands like all of you what we truly go through with our sailors.  Be blessed, every one of you!

Good morning, ACT.  Just checking in to see if there is any news yet on your sailor?

KLP - so great that you are having a positive experience so far with hubby in the Navy.  I know it is not easy but so glad you are getting through it and enjoying it so far.  I bet his two weeks home was like a honeymoon, eh?  Tell us again what your hubby's rating is in the Navy.  I was thinking Gunner's Mate but then again, I make up stuff in my head!!

Well, my son had his cardiologist appointment.  They have an event monitor strapped on him for 24 hours.  He will get it off today, and then will get the results on Thursday to see what all will come of it.  Thanks for all of your continued prayers!

ACTmom, I'm praying for your Sailor! My daughter is on leave and knows him. She was reading your update because they hadn't heard what was going to happen. She already knew about the heart condition and is keeping him in her prayers too.
