Mama Bear. My son just finished up in Dec. Unfortunately I can't get a hold of him, but I will ask him if he has any tips when I talk to him.

Hi, my son Austin is an EN. He went to A-school in Great Lakes.  I don't know if they have that class anywhere else though.  He is now in San Diego and loves it!!  I'll stop back and chat more and get to know some of you better. Austin had PIR last August, so I know how some of you are feeling. If I can help or just listen I will>

Ok so can anyone answer a question.... My son is job rate EN and I was just wondering where they go from A school?  I don't know what his orders will be just that I am curious where he might be going.  I ask him and he said he doesn't know yet,  so I thought I would ask some of the veteran A schoolers here.  Can anyone help?

Hello All,

Our son's PIR was on 2/4/11. He is at GL for EN A school. I would love to get to know more about what he is doing and I would love to meet others and share info.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi All,

I joined this group to learn more about what my son will be doing in the Navy. He is only 9 days into bootcamps, but he will be attending A and (I believe) C school in GL, training for HT-ATF. It would be nice to know what he's talking about when he's finally able to commicate home on a regular basis! LOL
