wow lots of activity here, My son is an EN ( enginemen)...The gas turbine engines are the ones is does NOT work on, that's where the GSM come into place. My son is just starting his 3rd year,OMG, did I just say that...WOW time really moves fast. I do know from my son while in A school, alot of time is spent in computer labs, then the guys/gals do strand, which is where they break off into their speciality...(snipes) is what they call engineers....and I believe they all class up together, ex: GSM-EM-EN etc..I know that my son's "strand class" was only about 2 weeks. When they get to fleet, that is when all the learning begins. I remember my son telling how awesome the guys were to him when he came aboard ship, how they were very eager to teach him, kind of a "brothership" is real nice to hear things like that from you child! ♥

Valerie-
My son is a GSM, and he seems to like it, he hasn't told me much about it, but I know he's passed two of his tests.

My son is entering BC in July. We live in OR and if we have any hope of attending a graduation, we would need to start saving now. Is is customary for a family to attend a BC graduation or is there an A school graduation? Is there a formal graduation ceremony? Is there a limit as to how many family members can attend?
