Not recommending that they try to break rules during PIR. They are told and fully understand they can get in trouble for not following these orders. Unless they are staying at GL, meet them at the airport. You'll want to anyway. Perfect time to give them what they need. They have to wait until they phase up after PIR to wear civies.

You can meet him @ the airport and give him what he wants. My daughter also bought a new laptop @ the nex while in P'cola. We live in florida so we drove and took her clothes that she wanted.

@ Loriemae - My sond graduated AD from P'cola as well last month.  He's now in Norfolk for C school then headed to San Diego.

@Momof4 - Congrats on your daughter graduating C school.  Is she at North Island in San Diego?  My son will be at SD North Island next month.  His squaron will be there for about a year as well.

momof4 - my son just returned from the rimpac exercise and is so happy to be back in SD.  There is a website that I really like that you might look at.   It's a live webcam on the SD harbor with a little bit of the Coronado base on the right side.  Smee works in a hangar behind the "Dolly Parton" hangars.  Seeing the weather out there and some of the action (occasionally Navy ships) makes me feel like I'm sharing some of his daily life.  SunDiegoLive.com  (sun, not san)
