Ahhh PIR was awesome, and my son says his school starts April 2nd, so I guess that's when they class up because there is no PIR next week and the following will be 3/30 PIR so that makes sense.

I think you're right about that, kimmic!

Welcome to all the new Sailors to Pensacola!  My son has been there for two weeks now.  He got a new roommate this weekend but as of Saturday wasn't sure of his name yet....boys!!!  A girl would have known her new roommate's grandmother's maiden name after two hours!!!

Such responsibility!

ooohh, my son will be there next Saturday!

A flowered bedspread, how nice. :)

I don't remember my son saying much about his room except that he had it to himself almost the entire time he was there.

I talked to my son last night and he said he hasn't classed up yet, not enough students but he only just got there last Saturday so he is pretty sure in the next two weeks or so he will class up.  He said he really likes it there.  A lot warmer than Maine...He sent me a 360 pic of his room, it has a flowered bedspread?  I laughed.

Mine was there 1 day short of 8 weeks, ditto on what Valtameri said.  My son classed up in 2 weeks, so his time there was not long at all and he came home for 12 days right after A school before he went to his duty station.  He is deployed right now, so we won't have the chance to see him again for a few months.
