My AD son is only a few months ahead of yours - he graduated Pcola in April and is stationed in Coronado, CA.  While I miss him physically, he still calls home almost every day, he emails, and face books his friends and we're in constant contact.  After some time pushing papers, he's finally "touching" helicopters, his choice of planes.  He's refueling them, washing them, and other misc. duties.  I think he's pretty happy there.

Yes, he will, we know he goes to Pensacola after he graduates BC.

Hi my name is Cindy, our son is also in p-days right now. He will be starting training Monday as far as we know. I miss him like crazy, he has been my sidekick for 18 years. I feel lost without him - too much food in the fridge, not enough laundry to do, no-one to be crazy with. I refuse to go into his room. I know he will be fine and I will encourage him and stay positive for him.

My son has been in about 2 years and is assigned to a squadron. He deployed last year on the Eisenhower and is stationed on the west coast when not deployed.

Ha-Ha---I remember that!  One of the mom in our PIR group almost ran over the cat getting to the phone.  The story was so funny it brought tears to my eyes.  Hang in there the letter will come.  :)
