The E/A-18G, "the Growler," is the Navy's replacement for the EA-6B, "the Prowler,"  Airborne Electronic Attack aircraft. My son also is in Washington state but he works on the Prowler, the older aircraft for the Airborne Electronic Attack Squadrons. The Navy is in the process of switching squadrons to the new aircraft the Growler. He has been on one deployment with his squadron and also gone to some different bases with his squadron for training. He likes his job and the people in his squadron. He also likes Washington and the many activities available to do. Being from Wisconsin he does miss the snow in the winter. Good luck to your son Valtameri!!

It's fun to see some activity here.

My daughter graduates next week. She had the week of indoc. There is a testing just before A school starts, that sets up their rank in class, to select their orders. A school is 4 weeks. From what I understand not all get C school and that is held after graduation at their new base site.
