Hi Proud AG Mama.  Thank you for the info.  I know my son is really excited about being a AG in the future.

A school was good for my sailor. He was in a group of very smart college graduates that gave him a run for his money.  The average class score was like 96%, but the group behind him was like 85%. He learned a ton during school. He went in knowing little to nothing about weather and came out talking way over our heads.lol

He was part of the honor guard and a volunteer group. He earned a white and black rope.  Someone commented they had never seen someone get both ropes. My son is pretty shy.  Getting these two ropes helped bring him out of his shell, got him interacting with the other sailors.

Hi Proud AG Mama,  How was A school for your Son?  Where is his first duty station going to be?  Thank you for any information you can share!

My sailor is just visiting home for the first time after AG A school. So this information is fresh. It was approximately 96 days. But there may be a waiting period before consolidated (Air Force and Navy) and another waiting period before Unique (just Navy). Longest wait he saw was 3 weeks.

Just checking in with any moms of sailors who started AG school around mid July. Would love to hear how your doing.

My AR's girlfriend graduated July 3rd, Div 934 and had an AG in her division.  My AR was going to try and track that Sailor down.  I was curious if it was your sailor. Have you been able to talk to your sailor?  We got to enjoy a week or two of Skyping until he started school. He has been kept pretty busy since then.

He was in div 212. He said they should be starting class on Monday.

My son just got to Biloxi on June 21st for AG school. He spent about 10 days on house cleaning duty waiting for school to start up. He has been busy, but has enjoyed it so far.  What division was your son in at BC? 934 by chance?
