Did hear from Dune and he loved his first flight!  did not get sick and is ready to go again.  So glad he likes it as he will be doing that job for the next 4-5 years.  I did watch a show on PBS once and seen all the hard work that goes on in the galley, and it said most everyone gets their turn.  Life lessons i suppose.

Good morning!

I am so proud of my AZ3 sailor son!!He became petty officer last december!!Entering in the military was what he wanted sinse his teen years, now he is 21, and he is more respectful, nice and loving person; for me as his mother, he write to me telling me that I'm the best mother and he thank me for raising him...He is a very hard working young man, his commanding officer wrote a letter to me saying about the good work he does, that he got to sit in the commanding officer"s chair (they are deployed on the USS John C Stennis) and got the opportunity to steer the aircraft carrier;the commander even wrote "Your son is amazing". On the ship he earned the Command Master Chief "coin", the Commanding Officer,VFA 97 "coin" and the Commanding Officer (Captain of the ship) "coin".So I thank God everyday for my son!!

Enjoy your Day

Good Morning Everyone?  How was the Holidays?  Did you get to hear from your Airman?  Mine suprised me popping through the door.  Had been telling me that he was the lucky one that pulled duty for the holidays and would not be able to come home.  So we were so suprised and pleased.  Had a great visit.  Oh he is sooooo independent and i got tons of hugs.  Had to get as many as i could to last me til next time we get to see him.  Hope you all got a chance to connect with your Son or Daughter too.  Heres to a New Year!
