Hi everyone, I haven't posted much on here. My Sailor has now graduated A School from Pensacola as an AM. His first duty station is at Jacksonville hooked up to a squadron that has been deployed. He is now on his way to meet up with them. No Thanksgiving or Christmas with us but definitely looking forward to when he comes back.

My husband has been done at a school in pensacola for 3 weeks now. He is ATO and has not classed up for firefighting or ATT. Several other guys who are ATO, AE or ATI from his division at boot camp have already classed up.. Does anyone have any idea when he might class up? I am stuck up here in Iowa with 3 kids under 5 and would really like hubby home soon.

Does anyone know what the current hold time is for ATO/ATI or AE for A school in pensacola?

Thanks Jenn (Proud AO Mom). He was very apprehensive as people were telling him how terrible it was there.  He's an AZ. After being there a few days I think he finds it better than expected.  He says everyone's been very nice to him. I'd like to be able to tell him that someone who's actually been there doesn't think it's so bad.  He's a positive person and is determined to make the best of whatever comes his way.

Hi ChristineLI - my son is stationed in Lemoore.  He is an AO and it was his first duty station as well after leaving Pensacola.  He's been up there since 2012.  He just recently moved off base with some friends.  He likes it for the most part.  It is really hot in the summer.
