Hi Navymommo! (Esther - I was the one that came to say hi at the Ramada after I spoke about our son as an AC!) I am glad there is another date of 7/18, as our son knew the 7/11 date will not be the start date of classes. His orders also said they would finish 10/25, but it doesn't seem correct seem correct when they ta haven't start them yet! Anyway, great to talk with you all!

Hi Abby and Esther ! My son left today and is now at Pensacola for ac. They told him that they class up on 7-18 and potential grad is 11/1 nice to meet you both. PIR was beautiful as was his very apparent personal growth! I look forward to getting to know you !

My husband is there, graduated 7-1, waiting for AC classes to start.  I believe there are at least 10 people there waiting for AC classes to start, hopefully there will be more every weekend!  His papers gave a potential graduation date of like Oct. 25th, but I don't believe those dates are ever right, so we'll see.

Hello there!  My son just graduated from Navy boot camp and is currently in Pensacola, FL waiting to start training for AC.  Is there anyone who has gone through the training or is signed up with my son to start soon?

Well, my husband left for bootcamp 4 days ago.  I missed his first call :(  Looking forward to finding out when graduation is!  Then it'll be off to Pennsacola for A school, hopefully he'll be able to start class fairly soon after he gets there.  I'm just hoping to be living together by Christmas!

I'm sure I'll be coming across both of your sons then. I'm female so I dont think they seperate us in A school like they do in boot camp haha.

Thanks Deanna!  I wondered if it was a large class and what type of duties they have if they have to wait to "class up".  Seems like this is a small group... Are there significantly  fewer AC than other jobs? I have already been in touch with my "leavin for bootcamp "  and my local group-  we are getting together soon. They have both been so helpful.  But I feel a huge knowledge gap when it comes to this job.
