Peggy, I work in Birmingham near Lakeshore Drive so we can get together anytime.

Our son and his wife had their baby this morning. Her name is Kieranne Pilar, 4lbs 7ozs, 17 3/4" long, and six weeks early. I posted a couple of pics on my page if you want to take a look.

I wanted to say what a great time I had on Sat at the meeting. It was wonderful getting to know other people who care about the same things I care about. I need to say that PF Chang's lettuce wraps are awesome. I took a small bit home to my husband and he liked them too.
Debra-if there is any way I could get one of those license plates I would be greatful!

Thanks for the warm welcome, Karla! It's great to be a part of the group.

Debra, officially we were scheduled to move home next May, but it could happen as early as December. The bad news is that we rented out our house in Anniston and the their lease isn't up until January, so we technically don't have a home to move back into even if we do get lucky enough to move home before the snow starts rolling in up here - HA! Just my luck. Our tenants are currently looking to buy a home in the area, so I'm just crossing my fingers that they find something so we can let them out of their lease early :o).

Well, we're practically neighbors, Debra! I would love to get together for lunch after we move back. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi Debra! I'm from Anniston and so ready to get back home. We've been living in Chicago for the past 18 months (husband's job brought us here) which as been fun, but I'm homesick.

Hi Alabama Moms! I'm an AL native temporarily residing in IL. Hopefully so temporary that we will have moved back to the great state of AL before winter settles in up here. I look forward to being part of this group :o).
