What wonderful pictures. You have a beautiful family. Your grandson is adorable. You look good too with your dad. How nice he could be there with you. I will have to post some pics too of Christmas Day and Eve.
Nice pics.. kinda reminds me of when Rj was that age.. We had a family picture done and he had no shoes on. lad your dad was able to spend Christmas with you. My dad would have loved to see my grandsons and how they are growing.. He passed away when Zach was 4mos old.. very cute
I love 31. I am wanting to have another party coming up but not sure if I will have time to have it. Sounds like you guys had a great Christmas too. MIL has friends that came up, they don't have kids or anything and at Thanksgiving or after that, we had asked what they were doing. They said probably nothing. We told them to come and celebrate Christmas with us this year. So we had them here and my mom and MIL and stepdaughter and her boyfriend. It was nice to have everyone here. MIL's friends said it was the best Christmas they have had in a long time. I am glad they had fun and enjoyed. That is what it is all about.
Well I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We did. Hubby cooked a ham and MIL brought scallopped potatoes. Of course we had lots of other things. Mia had a great Christmas of course to from Santa. I got a new video camera, one of those really small ones, to take to HI with us when we go, also got new boots, that are tone ups, new shape ups for my clinicals, we have to have white and no dirt on them. MIL got me a new sweeper that I have been wanting to buy myself. Mia got me a Steeler coat. She also got me a ring from Santa's workshop from school. Hubby got a new mieter saw, jacket from Columbia, George Foreman grill, that is what I got him. MIL got him an ice cream maker, so now wanting to make homemade ice cream. Stepdaughter did good with me this year, usually she gets me something silly. She got me a 50 dollar gift card that I can use where ever, and a yankee candle, it is Christmas Cookie and it had a Santa hat on it, that was cute. SHe got Mia stuff from Justice. That store is so expensive. I only buy from there on special occasions. We did get her a purse from there with her intial M on it. Now that was 22 dollars, now I don't even like to spend that on myself but like I said special occasions aren't too bad.
Well want to go shopping but it is raining and I have things to do here as well. I took all of my Christmas stuff down yesterday too. The tree and everything. YOu wouldn't even know Christmas happened here. I love to have it all up but afterwards I am ready for it all to come down. Plus trying to get things cleaned up for this weekend. We are having 22 people over for a New Years Eve party. I am sure we will all have so much fun.
I did get to talk to my Airforce boy on Christmas morning but not from Sailor boy. Oh well I understand he couldn't call. Airforce boy said they maybe coming home around middle February. Now that I am looking forward to. I have so much to be looking forward to in 2012. July, Hawaii, maybe Feb, the boys coming home. Now those are things to look forward to.
Well I hope you all are doing well.
What a nice tradition Blondie. I would have been crying too but then again now a days there isn't much that doesn't do that.
I did watch that and it actually made me smile. Thanks Blondie.
Ya know I have a real hard time with that song right now. I know we are missing our sailors but today is really hard on me today for some reason. I just wrote sailor a long email and yes I am crying now. I am excited it is Christmas but I miss them both so much. Gotta pull it together. I just don't want anyone around here to ask me if I will see the boys again. I just say I can't talk about it. If I do I will cry. I know I sound like a broken record.
Thanks Lillian for the graphic. I hope you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
That was a lot of peoples response to the status. That she should live in Afghanastan and see how they like her there and see if they would spit on her or worse. I know I wouldn't think anyone could do that to anyone whether they are in the military or not, it shouldn't be done.
Thank you for the graphics. I really got a get off of here and get something done around the house.
