Just ordered Mia some really cute rain boots online from target. They were onsale and the one was only 11 and the other 8. So not too bad. I got them for her for Christmas. I just hope they dont come when she is home. LOL. I think I almost got her done too. Not sure I need to sit and see what I have for her and mark things down and got sailors stuff out to him but he probably won't get it until after Christmas, oh well at least he will get them.

Yeah I don't know how many times I would forget to send extra clothes too when sailor was a baby. My mom eventually learned to just have extras at her house and so did ex-MIL. It is a learning experience for them and she needs to realize she was a new mom at one time too. I would have told her to shut up too.

Had a good weekend. Now back to school, had all last week off and now I don't want to go back but  I only have 2 weeks left and one week of finals. I actually have my final in lab today. I am soo nervous. I am hoping to do good on it. I just hope I can remember all the positions I need to. He is only having us do 2 upper limbs,2 lower ones, either PA of the chest or lateral and abdomen. I sat here and study until 10 or so lastnight but still nervous.

I got a call from my sailor yesterday too. We talked for over and hour. It was so good to hear he is voice. They were leaving from where they are today. He is going to see so much more before it is all done. I am so happy he is on this adventure. I wish I was with him. Hoping he can come home when he gets back to HI too. Him and his brother are going to try and come home at the same time next time. That would be wonderful. Mia was so excited to talk to him too. She was playing with her friends that were here and she just squealed when she knew he was on the phone.

Carol, happy to hear you got a call on Thanksgiving too. We got one from my Airforce boy too at my sisters. He said he tried my cell but no answer. That was because I forgot to take it off of vibrate. But he was on the phone when I got to my sisters, so it all worked out. So got to talk to him too.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We did, no drama this year so it was nice. We usually have some sorta drama because of certain people in the family but none to really speak about this year.

Mia has some friends over this evening to spend the nite. They are a friend of mines twins. Although, if you would see them they look nothing alike. Mia and the one look more like twins than the twins do.

Anyways, nothing to really report on this end of town. Did anyone go Black Friday shopping? NOT ME. I have done it in the past but there is nothing out there that I really need on that crazy day. Nothing I can't wait for. Besides the stores have all kinds of deals all season long. If you wait you can sometimes get better deals later anyways.
