Marcy i hope school is going well for ya, sounds like your doing ok with it, yes gotta get a new pair of shoes if your gonna be on your feet all day
Nita i hope you feel better soon and i agree if it doesn't go away i would see the doctor,
Blondie i hope they both get better prayers going there way!!!!!
Blondie, he is adorable. I hope they both get better soon. Are they on antibiotics?
Well had my first clinical day today. Really gotta get a better pair of shoes to wear. Not use to being on my feet like that all day. It was very interesting. I saw a GI where they give people things to eat and drink and watch them swallow and see if they are having any problems in that. Then I saw 2 people get fluid taken out, one out of the plural cavity and one out of the stomach area. Ya that wasn't too bad. the only thing that bothered me was them putting the needle into them. Saw lots of chest and foot x-rays. One guy yelled at the technlogist afew times. I do believe I am going to like it.
Well have a great weekend.
Blondie, I was kinda reading on N4D's that your babies momma is sick, am I right? What the heck is wrong? So sad about Heath too. I hope he gets better soon.
Sorry I have been neglecting you guys. I have been busy with school and studying. I think I did pretty good on my math quiz tonight and not so good on my Rad quiz yesterday. I start my clinicals in the morning so i am going to go and go to bed. I will be tired and grumpy tomorrow I just know it. I am not use to getting up at 545 am. I know quit whining. LOL.
prayers for Heath and all of you . Hopefully this will be resolved soon. we have a friend who has PAncreatitis. He has flare up from time to time and it lands him in the hospital. Not fun at all. He can't take NArcotics either. I hope the doctors get back to you soon. I pray that they let him go home for a while too. Do the doctors know what's going on and what's causing this. I don't understand the bit about no iv nurishment. That makes no sense to me, He needs some kind of nourishment otherwise he will dehydrate, and that won't be good either. HAve they operted to fix the blockage? My mom had a blockage that bloated her up, It ended up that the intestions had wrap it aroubd themselves. They took out a section of it This helped for a while . But because of her age at the time.. she get run into problms a few yars later. Anyhow, my thoughts are with you all. Please take care..
How's JAmie doing? have that baby yet.?
What a busy day I have had.. Yesterday I went to talk to my counselor/ therapist...trying to get over some crap that keeps lurking...Still coughing something wicked. hubby saids "why don't you go to the doctors?" probably because I know what he's going to say.. and Bob is not going to quit smoking anytime soon....either..It really helps to talk to her, but our sessions are only for 45 minutes....by the time Iget an idea out, is time to quit. next time we are talking about why the month of OCtober sucks for me....lets see.. I hate the fall and into the winter..lost my parents in the fall.. 7 yrs apart.. my grandfather did in OCtober when I was 12 (1969) my other grandfather died the day after Christmas (1973) he was my dad's dad and really cool, let me win at checkers all the time..and the inspiration behing me not wanting my parents in nursing homes and sparked my interest in Geriatrics. My grandmother ( dad's mom) died before Thanksgiving (1976) She made the most awesome bisquits ever I remember going to their farm when they had it. Outside outhouse wrap around porch where we would make the long chains made on a spool with 4 nails hammer'd in the top of it. Ivory soap and cold water reminds me of the farm.. we would go down to the spring across the street to get water. it as awesome. My other grandmother died when I was 13 mos old.. I didn't know her...good things about October, My baby girl.. Shanna was born in October 4th, our priest's B/d and Yom Kippur.. She was doubly blessed. Rj graduated from boot camp in October.. 4 days before what would have been Dad's 87th b/d.. Dad passed away 3 years before on the 25th which was his 84th. Oct 22 2004, had an accident which totalled my car.. DAd was my" co-pilot" 1 yr anniversary of DAd's death a few days later, and then 4yrs later, almost to the day... I saw my life flash before my eyes as again I got nailed by a car.. airbag went off.. again Dad was my co-pilot... This acccident changed my life more than I can put into words.. But since God isn't finished with me yet.. I am still here.. for which I am thankful....HAllowen this year will be strange for me as it is Mom's 1 yr anniversary of going to heaven to run the crafts shops up there.
Well Blondie, by now we whould have Connor on the scene. I bet he's going to be so cute. That;s what my daughter was going to name her second son. Speaking of my daughter, Today was the 10 th anniversary of her meeting her hubby....Its amazing how my daughter grew up so fast....She was 16 when they met, a few days later, she turned 17.. the day after her birthday Billy turned 22. a year later. she found out she was pregnant and that her beloved Grandpa was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung CAncer... HEr being prergnant was what kept my dad going strong.. HE wanted to be here for when she had the baby... 4 mos after she had Zach, we lost him... & 7 years later, history repeated itself. Shanna had Josh 9 days after Zach turned 7, then 4mos later we lost Mom. alot of things in October.. all blessings in their own way. well now that the "Nita story hour" is over, I am going to bed. Love you all
Well I got my quiz back yesterday and was hoping I only missed 2 but I missed 3, still not bad but it is still a C. I got and 82.3% and they call that a C in my rad class. To me it should be a B like all others but the head of the department made it different of course. I guess to make us study more and get better grades. Oh well do better this week. Although, there was one girl in my class that missed the same amount and got an 88% on hers. Now that is not fair. So we all talked to him about it and he is going to look at them and give them back to us. Hopefully either make it an 88 or drop hers down. I hope he raises ours and leaves hers alone. I would feel bad but it isn't fair to the rest of us either. Makes ya kinda wonder about the other test too. I am studying at the moment, sorta, LOL. He gave us a copy of the his midterm from last year so we have something to look at to get an idea of what he will be asking on it. I assuming it is coming up either next week or the week after that..
Blondie, it sounds like you need all those naps too. I sure could have went back to bed this morning too. Had to fight with Mia to get her to bed lastnight for some reason. She has been doing good in her own bed but Dad slept with her the last couple of nights and that screws things up. So I told him no more. If we are going to go thru this every time it is time to stop. He just misses her when he is out of town and that is why they have their Sleepovers. i know it sounds corny but she enjoys when he sleeps in her room with her but that is going to stop.
Well hopefully this weekend is move in weekend. He got the porches on, well one, and he just went to pick up the other one this morning. He put a nice wood one like ours on the front and then on the back he is putting one of those fiberglass step ones you see on the trailors. YA ME FINALLY. I can't wait. I won't have to hear her talk to her cat or hear all of the moning and groaning in the mornings or when she just comes into the room. I will be in this house hopefull all by myself, while Mia is at school, next week. Well hope you all have a great day, gotta study.
Blondie, I remember getting those kind of people in the Pharmacy when I worked at Walmart. They's come in and their insurance would change and it was our fault and so they'd have to wait a while longer. Yes it is so frustrating. I hope you got home and got some good eats too. Grilled cheese and soup sound good to me. Mia and I had that for supper one night this week but with tomatoe soup. She loves that stuff.
Nita, so glad you got to spend sometime with your son. Happy you got your mortgage worked out too. I know it was frustrating for you. Yes we will see the silver lining someday. Hubby was working on the porch today and has almost half done already. It will be so wonderful when we can say ok move in day. Probably next weekend, cross your fingers.
