two new pictures.. the grandsons and me with Amelia. We celebrated our 30th anniversary this past week. and I turned another year older.. Amazing huh? Youngest son going back to school in a few weeks I am hoping this year off from high school has clearer his head and he is ready to get on with it yeah.. Me, II'm not up to much.. trying to find motivation to sew. Every time I get a spot for my stuff, I get displaced and stuff gets moved to another spot. Put 2 new windows in living room, and hubby wants to tear out wall in LR and replace insulation and put up sheet rock., We have a friend of Tyler's staying here til he gets on his feet. His mom kicked him out shortly after he turned 17, he has been staying here and there, and he has landed at" Mom's orphanage for teenagers".. I have a hard time turning down kids who need a roof over their head. Its hard with Bob being the only one working, but we manage. Luckily I get SSDI so that covers the mortgage and the car payment. We lost food stamps because of our net income being over the limit, Our gross income is under the limit...but with allowances for ssdi, we still make too much after taxes. Figure that one out.. Maybe with this extra person to feed, it will help. Thank God for food pantries. Bob is finally going to get medical care thru the VA.. so that will help. It took awhile to get the DD-214. But now that we have that, we were able to get him into the system. Now maybe he we bill take better care of himself, All we have to pay for his medicine. Maybe now he can get his Chantix...stop smoking, so his health will improve. It wracks havoc on the diabetes. But tell that to a person who's been smoking since the age of 9. Now that he can get medical care, that's one more thing off my shoulders and now maybe I can settle down and take better care of me. well that;'s my news for now. I won a Kindle Fire HD at the local library. They had a reading program for adults over the summer...and an ice cream party at the end,. with a drawing for a Kindle HD.. It has a camera in it. Cool.. eh? but I still love my NOOKS. sorry to be away from the site for so long.. You all must think I dropped off the face of the earth. Talk soon
