For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Congrats on your son's promotion Tracy! My husband will be graduating A school in two weeks...I've asked him about it because he will be an honor grad and first in his class about a potential promotion....his instructor said "no"..I'm thinking that he's too lazy to do the paperwork because he is known for his laziness :( how unfortunate for us :(

Hi Moms, My sailor is graduating "A" school tomorrow will then be an ET Petty Officer 3rd class. Probably be on hold until January, then he will start "C" School. We still don't know where. He is stationed in GL with his wife and 9 month old son. We are hoping to see them in December for baby's birthday (12-22) he is our christmas baby. Well Hugs and kiss and may God bless all.

Hi Moms, My sailor is still in school. He graduated "A" school in April, then started Power school in June. PS grad is Dec, then on hold anywhere u to 6-8 mo before starting the 6 months of Prototype. THEN he will get to a carrier. It is a long road in this NUKE field, but he says he likes it. We look forward to seeing him in Dec.

Hey All!!
I cannot believe it is almost one year since my sailor left for RC. He is now stationed in Japan,serving on the mighty USS George Washington. He was an honor grad from A School so he received a recommendation for advancement to Petty Officer 3d Class when he reached the fleet. Last I know he was just waiting for his collar pin?

Hi Everybody! The holidays are creeping up on us. Can you believe that its been almost a year since our kids first went to boot camp and brought all of us together??? Time flies. I hope you are all well, New SR Wife, congratulations on your sweet baby girl! Jan, My son in in San Diego too, he moved 3 weeks ago and he loves it there. He will be coming home for Christmas and is buying our car. He and I are going to take a road trip to Cali and ill fly home. Im so proud of him and all that he is doing with his life. What a great roller coaster ride we have all gotten on!! :) I think of you all often...

Hi everyone. My son just graduated A school and is now in San Diego for more training. He is so excited to get out of PCola and on to more things. He has never been out west, so this id all new. He actually commented how California has mountains! He has only seen those when we were driving from Florida to Ohio.

We found out today that we'll be moving to Bangor, WA once my husband graduates A school (Oct.28).
