I am so glad that we had the weather that we did in Chicago. I would have been totally stressed out if I would have had to worry about the weather that they are having there now. I just hope it goes through there quick and everyone makes it there to see their kids graduate.

Heard Chicago might get the most snow they've seen since 1967!   My heart also goes out to the families trying to get to GL for graduation.   I know I would have been devastated if I had not been able to get my hands on my son.  :(  Praying for a miracle.

WOW !! Congratulations CarlyRae !! How exciting...Hope you have an amazing wedding and a Lifetime of Love, Good Health, Peace and Happiness !!

I'm just putting a request out there for some extra prayers for those travelling to GL this week for PIR 2-4-11...They are facing some really awful weather and the possibility of many cancelled flights and closed roads. When I found out that my son was leaving in Nov. and graduating in Jan., my heart sank, just thinking about winters in chicago and the possibility of storms getting in the way of graduation...It is SUCH a big deal to us and our sailors...I know how Blessed we all are to have gotten there and back carrying with us the precious memories we will have forever...I want that for everyone and I find it so difficult to know how all these people have waited so long for this and now they are facing even more stress...

sending prayers and good wishes for the safe and healthy arrival of all those going to graduation and for success for all the soon to be sailors....
