My son Passed his inspections and was all excited to Phase up and go to the mall today to buy civis, but ended up with the stomach flu all night and is SIQ today and tomorrow. Poor thing. He says that the medicine they gave him, makes him want to sleep all day.

Hey, Caran, I think you asked about SIQ in FB.  It's Sick in Quarters.  It means they aren't sick enough to go to the hospital and the kids are allowed to go back to work for limited duty.

My son texted last night...has fever/chills ,sore throat! Poor guy...I have sent two boxes (sm. PO flat rate) civvies/chocolate,musix xd's  and homemade jerky! I asked "if there was a graduation of sorts"...yes. "Should I make plans to attend?" No...I am not ofended, I know the kid has my welfare at heart and understands the mobility issues. I'ma spoil him ROTTEN in March, though!

Hi mom,s I am up here in MN.  Not quite sure where you are all from.  We are finally in the 20 degree range today.  Last week our schools started 2 hours late because of the frigid -34 degree with windchill tempts.  I don't want to even think about what the gas bill will be this month.  we have also had snow 22 out of 24 days.  I am ready to go visit #1 son in Goose Creek.  He texted today that study hours were bland, not enough homework to fill them up.  Told him to stay on top of it I was sure they would fill up his time.  His other concern is his ipod quit working. Looking forward to staying in touch with you wonderful mothers.

Just heard from R- He passed, so he is now Phase 2!! Might go up and see him in about 3 weekends. He says that B should have off that weekend also, so he can hang out with us too
