Hey ladies.  :)   Lydia - what fantastic news about your son.   You must be about to bust with pride.   I know I would be.   That's really really great.   I'm with kimber...I have no idea what all those abbreviations mean!   But no matter - still so happy for you and your son.  :)  I feel a tremendous sense of relief knowing mine's in SD.   Let the games begin!  :)

Found the package and nice lady who said she'd forward it to him as soon as I get an address.   Guess I'll just have to be patient.  :)

kimber - FB me too!   I'm on Bonnie's page of friends  :)

I'm in Georgia by the way...  :)

Lydia...I'm laughing at myself...I've GOT TO FIND A DICTIONARY for all these abbreviations!  Where are you at Lydia?  I'm in Florida in a little place called DeFuniak Springs.  We've been here for about four years now as my husband's parents have acreage next to us.  We moved from the south end of the county...ie Santa Rosa Beach which is adjacent to Destin which is only an hour from Pensacola.....to be closer to his parents so we could help them out as they age (in their 80's now).  Anyway...long story short..I spend alot of time on FB to keep up with friends and now I have you guys during this next chapter of all our lives and I'm so excited!  I hope if any of you do FB you will find me and friend me.  The military brat is coming out in me now and I really, really want to stay in touch.  I'm in it for the long haul, girls! :)

Gosh I wonder if you called Public Affairs if they could give you a phone number to the base PO and see what they recommend??  Otherwise of course it will be shipped back to you 'hopefully'...   I am sure this is not the first time that has happened so they must have a routine??

I need some help ladies.  :)   I mailed my son's cell phone (along with other items of equal importance) last Friday and it was supposed to get there Tuesday.   It arrived today and is sitting in the post office on the base.   He left this morning.    How do I expedite matters so someone gets the box and forwards it to him?   Any ideas?
