New - good morning!!!!
What an amazing soldier. We lost one here in texas last week that had 6 children and another the week before. It is hard to see these young faces! Their lives will go on through memory's of their service and how they were sons, fathers, brothers, uncles, to other great people, speak of them and their service.
U.S. Army Spc. Benjamin Moore, a Bordentown City native who was killed in Afghanistan last week
A member of the 693rd Engineer Company out of Fort Drum, N.Y., Moore, 23, was one of three soldiers killed in an IED (improvised explosive device) attack in Afghanistan's Ghazni province on Jan. 12.
Family members say Moore, a private first class who was posthumously promoted to specialist, was driving a truck when the roadside bomb exploded.
A volunteer firefighter and certified emergency medical technician, Moore collected a slew of medals after joining the Army in April 2009, including the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart
I am sorry but Erin Duffy the writer of this article, gave them life by writing the article which seemed to focus on this group. Perhaps it should have been a side note
caranb - Words of Gold from a man who knew!
Kimber and Bonnie - a followup to the Patriot Guard Riders...... the family or a spokes person from the family must ask the PGRs to protect their soldier. They do not act on their own. They wait for the family to ask... So lets pray that the media of this Nazi anti Christ "church" will cause the family to ask them to come!
I just read this this morning. Thought you all would appreciate in light of what's going on. :)
Miracles Sometimes Take Awhile
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
I do not want to give the impression that nonviolence will work miracles overnight. Men are not easily moved from their mental ruts or purged of their prejudiced and irrational feelings. When the underprivileged demand freedom, the privileged first react with bitterness and resistance. Even when the demands are couched in nonviolent terms, the initial response is the same.... The nonviolent approach does not immediately change the heart of the oppressor. It first does something to the hearts and souls of those committed to it.
Bonnie and Kimber.. Oh my ... Im crying right now ... yall are soo precious.. tough and precious... that is a Navy Military Mom!!! hoooyaaaa.. Tell you what... google your city's Patriot Guard Rider group... and you should find one to support... if not let me know..... we are everywhere.... I know they would just love your kindness and support... thank you!!!!!! Even just having you in the crowd at one of the funerals is GOLD!!!!!! that in itself is worth so much!!!
Oh Kimber no you have a GREAT spirit and I know exactly what you are praying!!! It is misguided... Lord help them to SEE!!!! you are soo right!!! Love yall so much!!!!!!
you know what? pray for that group to find inner peace and for the lord to shine truth and empathy in their lives... its easy to have anger for them, it takes much more strenth to show them the way that is true, loving and kind. we know that this is wrong what they are doing, they dont.
this family was blessed with a true hero, and he gave his life for our freedoms and for those who dont know what freedom means. what a blessed and selfless person he was.... my heart just breaks for the family.
