Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Oh guys love to hear your young adventures. New Sr ...I am willing that baby...Wait baby wait baby..hope he gets there in time. I bet he will, don't panic! HOw far a drive is that? CarleyRae I am sorry, Illinois just does not want to let you go just yet. You have a beautiful state to look forward to though. What a beautiful picture of you two. Love it.

So, my husband was suppose to arrived to MN tonight but now his flight is canceled....grrrr!!! Now, he's trying to rent a car to drive from Milwaukee, WI back to MN. If he doesn't drive, then he won't be in MN until tomorrow afternoon and TODAY is my DUE DATE!!!!! Let's hope the baby will wait until Daddy's home.  Will never fly with Frontier again!

His perm duty station is Everett, WA.and  for the last couple weeks we have been planning to move there this time next month... with a wedding party here in phx before we made the trip...

I go to GL every 5-6 weeks to spend a weekend with him... he will be in GL until the beginning of june then he goes to dam neck until sept

I should have known better than to get my hopes up and to think things were going to go as planned!!

 

He got his written orders on monday... turns out there is a C school attached that he didnt know about and he will be in VA until sept...

I know we are supposed to keep our chins up and be positive and uplifting for our sailors but I bawled like a baby!!!

ugh.... what a long week...

 

i should have remembered that this is the military and things change at the drop of a hat...

Hi NFM.. long time.. It has been nice to read all what is going on with your sailors. Enjoy Washington Carlyrae and your new Life! Howdy Theresa! Miss Ampi, Hero, Lydia.. Salma , becki, queen bee, kimber . Miss you all. Our Sailor just completed his first part of his FC school and on to the next. Still in GL.

You know girlfriends, I just had my birthday and the best felling and bday of all cause all three boys called starting at 6am. You all know what I am saying as a Mom. It ment so much and I miss them all. I had to reset my password again as I could not remember it. Getting old.... hee hee

Happy weeks and years to come and many blessings. Keep in touch every now and then.

Carlyrae, its cool ...how are you doing gf, so happy for all of your new happenings. Please share pictures So are you going to move to WA ? Yes he is in Bremerton on board the Stennis. Sounds really good. Love that boy. I am so proud of him. He is so excited to be on the ship and ready to crank. Where is your man going to be at again?

Oh I am so excited for you all. Yippie, so by next weekend we should see a beautiful new baby here on our site! Yeah, I hope everything goes perfectly, she waits till daddy arrives and that it is a quick and easy delivery. Hugs to you
