My sisters Joy-joy (her name) will be 4 in October too. Potty training is a challenge. We go back and forth, thought I had somthing going at about 2.5 but nope he had other plans. They will make an easy transition when they pick the time. I am sure you have tried the big boy pants circus right. Don't worry, not important. Those two times are just so hard. Yes the cost is high and confidence is low too. Enjoy your moments at home, so excited for your new little one. Just plan ahead for your little ME times. I learned along time ago you have to make time for all of your roles as a women. I try to remember this wehn things eem out of balance. You are a Wife, a mom, a sister-daughter, a friend and yourself. Be sure to cover all of your bases everyday and it will be just fine.

does that make sence? What do you other experienced moms think...??

My son will be 4 in October.  I'm trying so hard to get rid of the pull up during nap time and bedtime...my goal to fully potty trained him before the 2nd one arrives but I don't think that will happen now ;)  He doesn't need pull ups during the day and know when to run to the bathroom and everything but it's the nap time and bed time that I can't seem to do it.

My son told me today that Grandma (my mom) is prettier than me because she doesn't have a big belly ;)  I'm not with any mom's group because I have been super busy since my son was born but I will soon be a stay at home mom because it costs too much to  have 2 kids in daycare ;(

When was your son born? Mine was three in January...I am grinning from ear to ear right now and laughing. I thank God everyday for him AND my sister in law who is around my age and has a 3 year old also. We so share stories and she is my rock. Do you belong to mommie groups? Lets share silly "well today he" stories...My son is just like his big brother in the Navy it is amazing ! so happy for you and the sigh!

Thanks for the words of wisdom! My 3yr old son is such a joy but he got so much energy that I'm not sure if I will be able to accommodate that with a new born ;)

My husband got his new orders today and found out that he'll in Groton, CT until the end of Jan. 2012.  Now, he just have to talk to his new instructors to find out more information about paternity leave and personal leave to help us move....*sigh*

New SR, I hope someone of these wonderful ladies can say it better then I am attempting right now.  You have all the good things in life !

Don't loose site of that.

London, my 3 year old is the greatest gift, we could have ever asked for. In this crazy world, he is pure and beautiful and happy and positive. Love that so much!  The Love for a child and from a child is more amazing then any other love.

Ladies ??? Am I right?

You really do have so much. If I may say Remember, above all, you have a wonderful successful Sailor and beautiful children one who is more important then anything in the world right now. Keep your focus simple. Your stress level low.  What you are able to accomplish matters not, how happy you are and how healthy and happy your children are is ALL THAT MATTERS!   I know you know this just wanted to say it.  I am so excited for you and this new wonderful baby that will be in your life. How Happy are you. :)

My husband will be graduating BESS school on Friday ;)  we're working on getting the details together about moving there to join him in Groton, CT.  I have about 5 weeks left until our 2nd child is born.  So many changes in our lives right now....not sure if I can handle everything :(
