Thanks Karen! The pictures are different from the version I saw earlier, but the text seems to be the same.
I haven't heard much lately, but they were in Nigeria at an orphanage. Now I believe they are in Ghana and they have liberty. I haven't gotten to talk to my boyfriend much while he was in Ghana.
I suggest you go to the original article http://mayportmirror.jacksonville.com/military/mayport-mirror/2012-... The resolution may be better than on Facebook which will improve the quality of the photos and the article itself. There is a print icon at the top of the page and also at the very bottom. It's a really great article. Hope this helps.
Any help out there for a computer challenged mom? I want to print the Simpson article that the ombudsman posted on facebook from the Mayport Mirror (US Navy Delegation Wraps up Moroccan Staff Talks Visit) but it comes out too fuzzy to read. Any ideas?
went and got my son's taxes done today. wow, what a lot of signing you have to do when you are doing it for someone else. lol. I thought, "am I buying a house?"
I agree Monica. I could ask Ethan about your son, calling him by his first name, and his response would be, "who???"
whatelks67-Sounds like a good idea. Sometimes I wonder if the guys even know each others first names!
Ok i edited my last post and removed my son's last name, I forgot that was a no, no. Now since it's evident to me that our boys are refering to each other by their last names and we can't do that, we have to come up with a way to put each sailor with each person here. So I've placed a "sticky note" on my desk top, and I've got a list of the ladies here, and hoping to put their sailor with them. Now the only way to do that is to private message your sailors last names to each other. I'm willing if you all are, this way we are safe and still able to put each sailor with each person here-think of it as a cheat sheet in high school. lol so if you want to do your own, message me and I'll return with the info. lol. covert at work here.
Monica-Yes Ethan went on the tour. I guess we need to start refering to our sons/husbands/boyfriends by their last names since that is how they refer to each other. lol. He said he loved the food, and if you knew my son, that would so amuse you. He's our "clean up eater" hahaha, so his mentioning food is so in character for him.
I finally got my phone call at 4 am this morning too. His excuse for not calling is because we froze his cell phone while he is gone. I have short emails just about everday which i love but the phone calls are much better. In emails i will ask questions and his never really answers them or I will get "yes or no" to which question I have no clue and I am not competeing with a girlfriend either. THey seem to be having a good time. Josh said the women in Spain were beautiful and he wants to go back :) The Ombudsman is great. She is very informative. I only saw Josh in one picture. He was sitting on the ground with another boy while other guys around him are working. Figures lol. I can't wait to hear again from him and hopefully see some more pictures.
