We live in Palm Coast, FL. Only about an hour and fifteen minutes away. And yes, we were at the big send off! Terrible weather!

My son Joshua is on the Simpson.  We are from Texas.  This is my second deployment, and we made the big send off.  The weather was horrible but I wouldn't have missed it for anything

Where are you all from?  We're in New Jersey, near the PA border!  Anyone manage to make it to the big send-off?

Hi Maggie! My son is on the Simpson. He is a GMSN and one of the two Rescue Swimmers. This is his first deployment. This will take some getting use to. :(

Hey Maggie, My son is also on the Simpson and is a Hospital Corpsman.  I also got an email response.  I am surprised that I received one so soon.

Finally got an email response. That's good enough for me, right now. I know they are busy, and I'm hoping the mail arrives to them soon. Here's to lots of patience and keeping the faith!

Hi Maggie: Yes, my son is serving on the Simpson.  He's a CTT and finishing up his enlistment next year.

A very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all USS Simpson personnel and their families.  May your new year be filled with joy and promise, too!
