Ladies and Gentlemen of this discussion forum. My son received his DD214 and has completed his service in the US Navy. I wish you and my son Fair Winds and Following Seas as he sets off on his next journey - that of a college student.

I will still be on Navy For Moms as my youngest son is now a sailor of the world's greatest navy.

My sailor daughter just left Sunday on board USS San Antonio. So very proud of her and very supportive.

Kassie, my son is on the Antonio. I actually participated in the Tiger Cruise. I called it 'Take your mom to work day". Quite an experience. Today, I got the word that my youngest will report to RCT in TWO days. (He was on a wait list). Got entrance into the nuclear program. This is my baby!

Hi Navy Moms!  I am a newbee to the USS San Antonio!  My son will be reporting for duty on Tues!  I'm wondering what to expect and how he will get from the Norfolk airport to the base!  Can anyone give me a quick 'tutorial' on what I can do/send to help with the transition!  THANKS so much!

My son needs to sell  his new queen bed and beautiful sofa. Pics are on my page. His wife purchased these last June.  He got home from cruise in November, and  they've been stored since.

I hope I have not broken any rules listing this here.  Just trying to be a good Mom.  Thanks to all.  Happy New Year!
