We have stayed at the Navy Lodge as well.  Our sailors are coming home!  How exciting.....!!!

Hampton Inn is next door to the base nice place.

Does anyone has any comments for lodging for homecoming? We are looking at Navy Lodge and Hampton Inn, but as we have never been there we are confused at which one is nearer the base or better accommodation. I welcome any review or past experiences!

Hi Denise, I haven't heard of this, can you share to my email address:  iamdianaleenagy@yahoo.com.  Warm thanks!  Also, wrote to the ombudsman and was told care boxes can continue to be sent with the assurance our sailors will receive them.  I've become best friends with the two clerks at the post office!  You all have a fantastic day as we countdown -- see you at the pier!!!!  diana

Now that officially leaving the 5th fleet, do we have an arrival date.  I would love to make reservations to be there at homecoming.   Hooyah!

Its crazy that the information is all over the news as to which Navy ship they're holding the terrorist on.

Good morning to all those family members who have loved ones on the USS San Antonio!  Can you feel my prayers?!  Good news to share, got a phone call from my son this morning -- what a wonderful way to start the day.  Hope you all have gotten calls also.  He sounded soooooooooo tired and we can't wait to see that ship come home!  Have a great day!
