Ok, so chances are Nicholas received a box or two yesterday. Sounds like the mail is catching up with them.
Oh Good! I hope I hear from Nick and he tells me the same thing! I think Tanner needs to give lessons on how to be a good son and stay in touch with your mama while on deployment! lol
Good morning ladies!!
I got an email from my son. He had a mini Christmas! He recieved ALL FOUR packages I sent. His friends were like dang dude... The box with the toys was a BIG HIT with the guys. Apparently my picture here on N4M is circulating the ship through email. Not sure how that happened and it's definitely not one of my best shots. hahaha
I didn't get the wreath done this weekend. My husband was actually home because we got a lot of rain and they had to close the soccer fields. Darn. He had to be home with me all day Sunday. Weeded the front garden, bathed the dog, cleaned the fish tank and then hit Home Depot and got flowers. Planted the flowers. Sore and can hardly move, but it's a nice tribute to my brother, the gardener. He would have loved it.
Have a great day ladies! Working on the wreath today since it's an "inside" job. lol
Hey moms! Walgreens has 99 cent brag books through Saturday 4/27. They are normally $6.99. I'm thinking deployment book for grandparents. You can order 5 books at this price. They don't all have to be the same. Thought I just share.....
Linda- what is the name of your son that is part of the deck crew?
I know the name is so long, but it is because the navy combined both my husbands last name and mine and Augusto told us he coulnd do anything about it. He jokes that sometimes when they call him they say " sailor Augusto with a really long last name starting with Z and 13 letters!!
We were traveling when he deployed and miss the opportunity but we will be there for homecoming God permitted!
What is the name of your son?
Wow! That's so awesome! I posted some pictures of them leaving the pier. I don't know if he is in any of them but look anyway. You can always ask him where he was standing when they left. It's a little further down like the end of March or first part of April.
We live in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I entered the Facebook page of USS San Antonio and saw a picture of my son Augusto!!!! It is dated March 17 and he is with some binoculars, doing a look out watch. It is so good to finally see him!!
God bless all sailors!!!!
